Animal behavior and
Veterinary medicine are two rapidly growing and evolving fields that are
finally getting the attention they deserve from related professions and
institutes. This means that for us pet owners and animal caretakers,
there's a lot of new stuff to learn. If you were to take a dog training class just ten years
ago and took another one today, you would likely have two totally different
ideas about how to best go about training your dog. If you were to
take a sick rabbit to the vet ten years ago, they'd likely recommend
euthanasia while with the increased veterinary knowledge today, they would
likely recommend a treatment that would leave you with a healthy and happy
bunny. That would make it rather silly to take a class and decide that
one class was all you'd ever need to know, wouldn't it? At The
Menagerie, we believe that our education is never complete. We're
always on the lookout for great books, courses, seminars, and workshops to
improve our knowledge and skills. If you know of any, please let us
know!
